What Happens Next...?

Phase 1: Initial Contact and Assessment

Once we have received a completed intake form, one of our therapists will be in contact to discuss your referral and what is required for the initial assessment. Please Note: Quotes for assessments are dependent on the complexity of the assessment required and are generally provided after receiving a completed intake form.

Phase 2: Development of Program

Planning Reports

Prior to commencing a therapy program, one of our therapists will discuss your history, current goals and decide on 1-2 therapy goals to work on for the therapy term/block.

We like to do this with you and your family to ensure these goals are tailored to what you want to achieve! By setting formal goals, we are able to ensure our interventions are targeted to meet the individual needs and provides a benchmark to review progress in the future.

This will be compiled into a short report which will typical be invoiced for 1-2 hours depending on complexity and program.

Phase 3: Implementation of Program

Ongoing Therapy Sessions/Interventions

Most of our therapy sessions are invoiced for 1 hour. This includes a 45 minutes face to face therapy session, with an additional 15 minutes to accommodate time spent both prior to, and after each session completing admin, preparing and cleaning resources or modifying programs.

Travel is charged for all community-based sessions, however, is capped at 30 minutes. We do also have the option of clinic based sessions at our office in Wilberforce.

Equine Assisted Occupational Therapy and Equine Assisted Physiotherapy:
Our Equine Assisted Therapy Sessions will be held at our farm & office location in Wilberforce. These sessions will be invoiced for 1.5 hours ($290.99). This includes a 60 minute face to face therapy session, 15 minutes of animal care and 15 minutes of non-clinical tasks such as documenting and other associated admin tasks. This ensures we are able to continue to provide a high quality service for both our participants and ensure our animals are well looked after and prepared for sessions.

Phase 4: Reassessment and Future Planning

Therapy Outcome Review Reports

At the completion of your therapy block (typically after 10-12 sessions), your therapist will sit down with you to review progress around the goals set at the start of the therapy block. From here, they will be able to discuss options around further recommendations and/or ongoing therapy needs.

This will be compiled into a review report which will typical be invoiced for 1-2 hours depending on complexity and program prior to discharge from service or commencing new therapy block.
